Burmester use these cables for internal wiring of all of their components. They supply these interconnects in any plug configuration, the standard configuration being a balanced cable with XLR-3-pin termination that fits with the standard balanced terminals used by all major manufacturers.

The Burmester high-purity SILVER interconnect offers a separate lead for carrying a control current to remotely switch the power amp on and off from the preamp. For Burmester components it carries a 10V DC current.
